Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload furniture and other items from box trucks, ensuring proper handling and securing of inventory to minimize damage and maximize efficiency.

Packing and Wrapping: Pack and wrap items securely to prevent damage and keep furnishings clean during transit and within the warehouse. Adhere to instructions on what requires wrapping or extra care.

Transportation: Drive and operate moving box trucks in a safe and responsible manner while following timelines to meet scheduled appointments. Be on time for each job.

Space Organization: Efficiently organize and pack a box truck, plus maintain the warehouse space to ensure easy access to items and a safe organized working environment.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with the owner and staging team to understand staging needs and ensure timely and effective delivery of services.  Everyone chips in and is part of the success of every staged and destaged home. Actively work on solutions to continually improve processes and rapport with clients.

Safety and Compliance: Ensure all warehouse and moving activities are done in a safe manner for yourself, your teammates, our clients and our inventory. 

Responsibility and Honesty: Treat our inventory like it is your own and take great care of the properties we are working in. Own any mistakes or issues by communicating them in a timely and responsible manner.

Integrity and Customer Service: Interact with clients and represent the company in a professional and courteous manner. Have ownership in your role and job expectations.

Attention to Detail: Be able to notice when things need attention, how things coordinate with each other, or how our warehouse operates.  Adhere to organization and business best practices within your role and the warehouse.

Physical Stamina: Possess the physical strength and stamina required to lift and move heavy items throughout the day, while adhering to proper lifting techniques to prevent injuries. 

Part-Time Position: roughly 20 hours per week, ideally around 3 days per week

Work Hours: jobs typically are between 8AM and 5PM

Schedule Flexibility: Monday to Friday with very rare weekend or evening work during peak periods. Hours may vary daily based on project size.

Competitive Hourly Wage: $25-30/hr, commensurate with experience, job expectations and industry standards.

Paid Training: On the job training from owner and others on the staging/moving team.

Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record (background check required)

Previous experience in moving and driving a box truck (15’ - 26’ truck)

Strong spatial organization and attention to detail

Ability to safely lift and move heavy items (solo and in pairs) for several hours

Professional and prompt communication and teamwork abilities

Experience working with an inventory management system is a plus

Knowledge of Google Business Suite (Docs, Sheets, Photos, Drive, etc.) is a plus

Passion for real estate and design is advantageous, but not required
