The BEST Holiday Cookies - No Kidding!
With little surprise, I'm sure, I have no bathroom renovation updates for you this week. We have wrapped up mitigation and the logistics that go along with it, and now have a rebuild estimation into the insurance adjuster. What a process! Thanks goodness everyone is kind and calm -- even as we grow inpatient to have our only full bathroom back to normal! Our latest hope we hold is for renovation to start the first week of the new year. Instead of an update, you get my new, favorite recipe!
You've googled it before. You've read it a million times. Promises of THE BEST this or THE SOFTEST that. I have to tell you, the Soft Gingerbread Cookies with Maple Glaze are truly my favorite seasonal treat I've had in a long time -- maybe ever! Thanks to Lindsay and Bjork, owners of Pinch of Yum blog out of Saint Paul, MN, you, too can make these delectable delights! These from scratch cookies are simple to make, don't require too many ingredients, and are a total crowd pleaser. Kids can help decorate with sprinkles, too! I recently made these with my family for our annual cousin's Christmas cookie exchange, and they were a hit! To quote cousin Mike, "these are a culinary masterpiece." Whether you want to fill some free time over the holidays, or need to whip up a last minute dessert or gift, this recipe is just for you!
